At the college we have several food stations that will be available to us.
This is their schedule and what they serve:
The cafeteria will be open normal hours from 8:00AM – 6:00PM. The places that will be open while your group is here includes The grill (Short Order), Tim Horton’s, Grab N Go,
Pita Pit will be open for Lunch time from 11:00 am – 2:00PM
The Grill (Short Order) serves Breakfast combos all day and their lunch menu begins after 10:30AM
For breakfast they have meals that include your standard breakfast items, such as omelets, bacon sausage, home fries, home fry poutine, fried eggs, western sandwiches, pancakes, vegetable omelets and bagels. I eat there all the time and the food is great!
Their Lunch menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, poutine, onion rings, chicken fingers, chicken BLT and teriyaki wraps, veggie burgers, daily soups specials, and Random Daily specials that truly are special! Today for example was wing Wednesday, which included 7 sauced and tossed wings with French fries for $12.95. The other day they had something called a double decker chicken burger bacon melt which is a mouthful to say and it was also a mouth full of delicious.
The Tim Horton’s on-site is more of an express Tim Horton’s. It has coffees and teas and pretty well all the beverages you would expect from timmies. However, since the grill offers a wide selection of food items, The Tim Hortons doesn’t have much in the way of food, save for bagels with cream cheese and of course donuts and pastries.
The grab N Go is an assortment of individually packaged sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastas, yoghurt parfaits, and pastries and beverages available in the cafeteria refrigerators that can be conveniently picked up, paid for and taken to go.
There are also many surrounding food service providers close by to SLC. Like the Tim Hortons up the road, a sushi restaurant, subway and my favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area, Kai’s Delight.
We have selected a few restaurants in the area at about 10 minutes drive from the School. We added their website to see their menu.
They are classified per cuisine to fit everyone’s taste. There are many others but these were starred the highest.
